S.F. sheriff’s deputy accused of threatening to shoot people, faces criminal charges

A San Francisco sheriff’s deputy is facing criminal charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted someone and threatened to shoot others at a dinner party last week, officials said.

Prosecutors announced Tuesday that they had filed four felony charges and three misdemeanor charges against Dominic Barsetti, who has worked for the sheriff’s office since 2018.
