Crime victims gather in D.A. Boudin’s office with a clear message: The system is failing us

Twenty-eight years surviving a mass shooting at the 101 California St. office building, Alan Hinman still felt panic well up when he arrived in San Francisco Tuesday morning.

“I fight PTSD, in fact, even just sitting here,” Hinman said, sitting in a circle with six other crime victims, several advocates and two top prosecutors who gathered that day at the office of San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin.
