The amazing voters of Arlington and Falls Church just re-elected Parisa Dehghani-Tafti as Commonwealth’s Attorney for Arlington County and Falls Church, VA. Great job!!!
Listen. This is a HUGE win for not just her community, but for our national fight for justice. And it is a testament to the power of people and the growing belief that our legal system needs to be reimagined and rebuilt with fairness at its core.
Under Parisa’s leadership, Arlington County and Falls Church have seen REAL change — from holding police accountable to treating kids as kids, from ending cash bail to curbing racial disparities in juries and in jails.
Thank you to every local organizer and activist who fought for this, and thank you to our donors, staff, and volunteers at Real Justice that fought for this! It all made a difference.
