Real Justice is proud to endorse and support Mike Schmidt for District Attorney of Multnomah County!

As Director of the Criminal Justice Commission in Oregon, Mike fought for legislation that decreases racial disparities and treats addiction like a health issue. He’s also advocated strongly for ending cash bail and collaborated with legislators and health experts on legislation focused on the intersection of behavioral health and the criminal legal system. Mike has also pledged to never seek the death penalty as DA of Multnomah County.

Now he’s running for Multnomah County District Attorney to end mass incarceration and address the racial and economic disparities in our criminal legal system.
