Real Justice PAC is excited to endorse Junaid Afeef to be the next State’s Attorney of Kane County, Illinois.

For over 25 years, Junaid has fought for justice. He has served as a public defender, worked pro-bono to protect civil rights, developed alternatives to incarceration for people with mental illness, and helped close a “super max” prison in 2013. Junaid is also an immigrant from India and has been a life-long advocate for immigrant rights.

The current State’s Attorney, Republican Joe McMahon, is stepping down after holding the office for 10 years. Now is a critical opportunity to elect a real reformer.

Junaid is the best candidate for the job. We can count on him to end the mass incarceration machine that breaks apart poor families and families of color.
