The state of Delaware is unique in that its prosecutors are not elected, but instead appointed by the state’s Attorney General. Prosecutors are powerful officials who possess the ability to oversee criminal prosecution without virtually no limits on discretion. That means the results of the Attorney General will determine the approach statewide to mass incarceration, accountability for police violence, and the fate of the mentally ill and those suffering from addiction who become caught up the criminal justice system.

As a longtime voter protection lawyer who serves on the Board of Directors of the Delaware Center for Justice, Chris Johnson has proven his commitment to real justice reform. The time for change is now and Chris Johnson is the most credible candidate to bring the change and progress that Delaware deserves.
