Ramin Fatehi

Candidate for Commonwealth's Attorney, Norfolk, VA

As Norfolk’s Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney, Ramin Fatehi fought for marijuana legalization, abolishing the death penalty, and ending cash bail. We are proud to support his campaign for Commonwealth’s Attorney.

Ramin has led the charge in Norfolk to decriminalize and legalize marijuana possession, to abolish cash bail, to abolish the jury trial penalty, and to make the justice system work for all. Ramin served as the Chair of the Criminal Justice Reform Working Group of the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, implementing key justice reforms. He is committed to continuing that work with plans to abolish the death penalty, legalize marijuana, and implement faster review of police shootings and other misconduct.

As Commonwealth’s Attorney in Norfolk, Ramin Fatehi would continue his commitment to make the prosecution system fairer not just in Norfolk or Virginia but across our country.
